At 22, after completing a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from the American InterContinental University, Nichole was hired permanently as a Creative Assistant for Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment Department. In less than one year's time, she was promoted into the desk of Creative Coordinator, and headed for management. However, her season of Hollywood success came to a halt in 2004, when she became a newly wed and packed up to join her husband, Minister & Army Sergeant, Orlandon Howard at Fort Polk Military Instillation in Louisiana.

In the Summer of 2005, after settling into her new home, she opened the doors of a trendy clothing and accessory boutique for women and called it Cali's Closet; bringing star-studded styles into a rural mall-less town and offering a place of retail therapy through Christian fellowship, as well as, spiritual support for women of all ages.

After a year in business, this entrepreneurial niche afforded her the opportunity and resources to continue her education and devote more time to writing. In 2006, upon her completion of a Master's in Administration from Central Michigan University, she decided to unleash a few of her lyrics, through her new self-published book entitled, With or Without Music: a gospel songbook; with the help of Christian media leader, Salem Communication’s, Xulon Press. The book tells the encouraging story of her life and presents over 60 of her spiritually inspired psalms, yet without music.

Nichole has gained workshop experience through the Songwriter's Guild of America in Los Angeles and the UCLA Extensions program. She is currently, an active member of the Gospel Music Association and ASCAP, and has recently launched her own music publishing company, Lord and Howard Music.

While most may know her as Nichole Howard, many as Cali—let the bio marinate, because this talented lyricist is headed for full bloom and bringing a refreshing something new into the music industry. Effortlessly contradicting any doubt that she has got what it takes to thrive in today's Gospel music arena.
