Debbie Winesberry, RN, BS, has over 20 years of professional nursing experience, and now consults with home health and hospice facilities. Her acquired knowledge has provided an opportunity to work with the NCAA’s Summer Youth Sports Program as a medical coordinator, which has allowed her to assess the health needs of each participant, and by giving them an opportunity to participate in sports. As a result of exposing the youth to various sports activities and medical field options, their vision to imagine what they could attain and become would no longer be a dream.
